As we ease into the year, we’re already seeing just how tight Perth’s property market is. REIWA reports that the number of homes for sale fell to record lows over December – a typical seasonal slowdown, but one that’s been amplified by ongoing strong buyer demand and fewer new listings coming onto the market. With many owners holding off on selling until they feel confident about their next move, competition between buyers continues to be intense. Click here to read more about what’s driving the current shortage and why it’s creating such favourable conditions for sellers.
This creates a silver lining for sellers, especially if moving is on your radar this year. Homes are moving so quickly that we’re actually sold out right now – a clear reflection of just how strong demand is when good properties come to market.
